Giving back has always been important to me. Our family is incredibly fortunate to be able to take care of what we need and still have the opportunity to give back to others—and I want my boys to grow up understanding how important that is. I learned early on that giving doesn't always mean writing a check. When I was in college and didn't have much money to give, I always had time to give. Volunteering has continued to be an important part of our family. We started volunteering with VNA Meals on Wheels when my oldest son was just one year old, and we've continued serving together over the years. We also regularly volunteer with our church and other organizations in our community.More recently, my oldest son and I joined YMSL (Young Men's Service League), where we've started serving alongside some wonderful local organizations. I love that it's giving us another opportunity to serve together and, hopefully, helping my boys see that giving your time and talents can be just as meaningful as giving money.I also believe my business should be a way to give back. 15% of my photography proceeds are donated directly to Ark of the Rainbow, a school in India founded by a Lakewood neighbor, as well as other local charities.Thank you for choosing to support my small business—and for helping me use it to do a little good, too. ❤️
